Solar Gard

Solar Gard high performance window films for solar, safety and energy saving solutions has been around for a long time and I have personally used their products for about 10 years. In September of 2011, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics purchased the company. ‘Saint-Gobain manufactures, processes and sells flat glass products for automotive, construction aviation and public transportation (taken from their website, http://www.saint-gobain-northamerica.com).’It will be exciting to see what changes or new developments emerge from this acquisition. While I don’t use a lot of Solar Gard automotive film, I do really like a few of their commercial films as well as their Paint Protection Film. They’ve been a great company to do business with and they’ve never let me down. On the side are some descriptions of Solar Gard films I like to use and why.
