My History of Window Tinting

I started tinting windows in 1996 right here in Vancouver, WA. I was 18 years old and would work in a tint shop on my summer breaks from University of Washington. In 2001 I helped open Film Masters Window Tinting in Longview, WA, the same year I married my wife! I took it over the following year and thus began the journey. We did pretty well and built a good reputation in the Longview area but when the economy took a dive in 2007, especially in the automotive industry, we closed down our shop and switched to servicing the Longview area a couple days a week. I was able to focus more energy on commercial/residential film installation because I didn’t have to man a shop 6 days a week. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I now service all the automotive dealerships in Longview and take care of most of the window tinting and paint protection in that area. I also service the Portland/Vancouver area ( where I live), as well as install architectural window film for over 9 different companies from Eugene, OR to Longview, WA! My wife and I have stayed happily married for 10 years now and have 4 beautiful children. We love what we do and feel very blessed to be able to say that!
