American Standard Window Film  is a smaller film manufacturer out of Las Vegas, NV and their film is the best economical film I’ve found. It truly is a hidden treasure! I’ve been applying it for a few years now and have not had any problems with it. I mainly offer this to my customers who are looking for a cheap film, but NOT a cheap quality film. It does not have the long history and brand recognition of 3M but again, I consider this to be a hidden treasure.

For automotive applications, American Standard Window Film film has a great charcoal appearance that matches factory tinted glass really well. The primary reason I’ve chosen it is because I love the look of it! Also, it comes in a true 30% (I use their Excel series), which is perfect for Washington customers. Since I only do legal tinting, their 30% film pushes it right to the legal limit of metering at 24%. Obviously I can’t apply this 30% film to my Oregon customer’s vehicles since Oregon law states you must meter at 35%, but it is perfect for my Washington customers. I often have customers who are on the fence with going a little bit darker than the law allows but If they decide to go ahead and go with the 30% film, I usually get compliments on how good it looks and how much darker it is than they expected. For someone who only does things on the ‘up and up’ it’s a great choice!

American Standard Window Film Residential and Commercial window films have also been great. They manufacture a full line of window films to offer a more cost effective choice for whatever your objective may be, whether it’s solar control, privacy, security, etc. I usually give my customers a few different choices and American Standard is always one of them!
